. Attendance Waiver is due by May 22, 2015
| Second Semester Attendance Wavier forms are available in the attendance center. Attendance forms will be due no later than Friday, May 22 by 1:00 p.m.
The waiver provision was written into the policy for the sake of students who have something beyond their control happen to prevent them from being in attendance (e.g. a severe illness, court or death in the family). Absences on days such as “senior skip day” or the Royals home opener will not be waived. There are no circumstances under which an UNEXCUSED absence will be waived.
All requests for an attendance waiver MUST be in writing and required forms are posed. We request that parents and students plan ahead and begin collecting documentation and turn in waiver paperwork to the SMN Office as soon as possible. All Waiver applications are due in the SMN Office by Friday, May 22, 2015 by 1:00 pm.

COLLEGE VISITS
NONE AT THIS TIME!
Any interested junior or senior may get a pass from Student Services and attend with teacher approval. All college visits will be held in the Student Services Conference Room unless otherwise noted.
SPORTS
Games!
Girls softball regional will be played today @ 3:30pm vs. SMS @ ODAC.
Girls soccer regional will be played today @ 6pm vs. BVNW @ BVNW.
Boys baseball regional will be played on Thursday @ 2pm vs. OLS @ BVNW.
Track Regional will be Friday @ Free State @ 3pm.
Girls Swim and Dive will be Friday and Saturday @ Hummer Sports Park in Topeka.
Sports Physicals – any student that received a sports physical on Tuesday, 5/12 here at SMN can turn them into Ms. Rettig ASAP.
