The North swim and dive team placed 6th with 72 points on  Feb. 8 at the Varsity League Championships. Olathe South took 5th with 92 and Olathe North placed 7th with 47.

North’s three relays finished 5th, 5th and 6th respectively. Both of the Free Relays swam the fastest times of the year on Saturday.  Senior Cody Sarras placed 9th in his 200 IM with a State Consideration time Friday and also finished 12th in his 500 Freestyle.  Senior Sean Atkinson finished 8th in diving and senior Mitchell Sams came  in at 9th.

Others who made Top 20 in one or more individual events included seniors Erik Hydeman and Lair Heslop, and sophomores Keighan Miller, Charlie Kaifes, Julian Rivera and junior Josh Mills.  Junior Mac Bowes and sophomore Jon McMillin did not finish top 20, but had fantastic meets as well.

Great job to all the Indians for once again finishing in the top half of the Sunflower League.
