Team works to raise money for camp

This was the team’s first year doing a car wash fundraiser. “We were raising money for dance camp, and for new stuff for us next year,” Hernandez said. “We reached our goal because a lot of cars came to support.”

On May 7, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. the dance team washed cars for a fundraiser. The girls decided upon this fundraiser because they will have an overnight camp at Topeka and need the money for their camp and next year’s dance expenses. The group raised more than $300.
