The Kansas Dept. of Transportation, in conjunction with the Kansas Highway Patrol and the Overland Park Police Dept. sponsoring a Seatbelt Safety Campaign during the week of March 11-15. There will be increased patrols for seatbelt enforcement around the Shawnee Mission North area during this time. Please be aware of these patrols and we encourage everyone to wear their seatbelts all the time, not just during the upcoming week.

“It worked so well last year,” said officer Doug Ryson. “All we are trying to do is keep the students here safe.”
