“What an awesome night for the North Track and Field Teams.  We absolutely dominated and managed to capture 2nd place team finishes on both the girls and boys sides.  We are taking 28 athletes to the State meet next weekend in Wichita.  And with very few exceptions almost every athlete on both teams scored points contributing to the team’s success. When the team results were announced all the athletes congregated on the infield and erupted in a celebration that started with a chant and ended with them all singing the school song which ended in a yelling of “Shawnee Mission North.”  It was quite a site, and awesome to see.” Track coach Ryan Colburn said.
