On November 9, The SM North NJROTC traveled to Pioneer Trail Junior High School in Olathe where the cadets performed for the Veterans Day assembly.

“The cadets did an outstanding job and it is a great compliment to North and the program they have developed,” said third grade teacher Lynne Sheffield. “They gave me the chills many times as I know it was very touching for many others as well.”

After the ceremony, there were many Veterans and guests that came up to me complimenting the group’s performance.

“It was a nice way to honor the countries greatest,” said junior Jake Buchanan. “They deserve everything we can give.”
