At the heart of it, senior Michael Wheat points up to the sky as he dances in the center of the dance floor at Prairie Fire Museum of Natural History during prom. “I was dancing with all my friends after we all sung ‘Party in the U.S.A.’,”Wheat said. “It really brings our school closer to have a dance because we’re all together and that’s really what I enjoy about prom the most.”

Hi there!
I am Macy Williams. I have been on the SM North journalism for three years (currently a junior, class of ’26). I am Photo and Copy Editor for this years’ (2025) yearbook.
I have been in journalism since seventh grade and can’t imagine my life without it. It’s so eye-opening and teaches you so many important leadership and life skills, as well as how to write a really good college essay.
My favorite part of journalism are the workdays with Nicole, Toni, and Kristen. I will forever cherish everything I have learned and everyone I have met through yearbook and photoj.
