North’s Signature Program celebrates teacher’s help

North’s  Medical Science program is celebrating its half birthday this week. The Program will be six years old at the end of this school year. Among the accomplishments that have been connected with this program throughout its short history is one educator who prepares senior-level students for the “anatomy quizzes” they take daily, teacher Tim Fisher.

“For several years now our seniors have continued to tell me how much they appreciate the knowledge Tim Fisher imparts,” Teacher Connie Gandy said. “Preparing them for real-life exams given by surgeons in the operating room, in rehabilitation areas and emergency departments, just to name a few.  Time after time health care professionals across the metro have shared how impressed they have been by our students’ knowledge of the human body.”
