On Monday, Sept. 10, 20 North Coalition students prepared and served a meal for the families and staff at the Hospice House. The Hospice House provides services for people with life-threatening or life-limiting illnesses and their families. The students made spaghetti and meatballs, salad, garlic bread and cookies. Coalition connected to the Hospice House through one of their leaders, senior Jordan Johnson, who spent several weeks last Nov. at the Hospice House with her aunt. That same evening Coalition prepared dinner, a piece of artwork in honor of Johnson’s aunt was dedicated with a balloon release.
