Marching Invitational

Shawnee Mission North hosted the annual Marching Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 24. This was SM North’s third consecutive year hosting the event. There were a total of 11 bands from all over Kansas and Missouri.

“I think everyone’s favorite part was right before the awards ceremony. Drumline was playing and as we saw at last week’s football game, Luke Guthrie’s legs dangled form Brice Conely’s shoulders, and played a solo. I could hear everyone in the stands cheering,” Junior Drum Major David Gabaldon said. “I know in a few years our Marching Invitational will become one of the best invitationals in the region.”
