The Shawnee Mission North Art Department will present the North Area Winter Art Gala on December 5, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Greg Brantman Patrons Gallery, the North art rooms and hallways. This year will feature an extensive art exhibition of K-12 artwork from all North area schools.

Guests will enjoy SM North Strolling Strings and Chambers Choir Carolers, face painting, live painting ceramic demonstrations and refreshments as well a silent auction of wonderful art work by SMN Art faculty and students, including:  North art teachers:  Emily Patterson – Painting, Joan Brandt -Textiles; retired North art teacher, Greg Brantman – Ceramics;(Local Ceramic Artist, Lee Slusher – Bowl and Teapot)
