Kansas State Open House
If you are interested in learning more about Kansas State University there will be an All-University open house on Saturday, April 20th.   Details are available at the following link: http://www.k-state.edu/openhouse/
Free Prom Attire – Women’s Gowns and Men’s Suits
Students who want to go to the Prom but are unsure about the expense of the clothing, there are opportunities for assistance. We have a number of dresses and many suits for the men that are available here at North. There are a variety of styles and sizes to choose from. If you are interested in this opportunity, please stop by Student Services arrange to schedule a time to see and try on Prom clothing.
 
Free Prom Dresses are also available through Saturday April 6 at Woods Chapel Methodist Church in Lee’s Summit.  See the information below:

STUDENTS, HOME GAMES ARE FREE IF YOU BRING YOUR ID!
 
ID hours during the school year are from 7:30-11:30 ONLY.  If you are paying for a replacement, you must also bring a receipt from the bookkeeper to Student Services.

Any interested junior or senior may get a pass from Student Services and attend with teacher approval.     
 
SPORTS:
 
Any student interested in playing football and NOT out for a spring sport, please meet in the MPR @ 2:50pm Monday through Thursday.

INTERNATIONAL CLUB
The next meeting of International Club will be after school on Wednesday, April 10th in room 261.  Our exchange students from Germany and Norway (Linda and Tonje) will be there to tell us about their countries.  As always, there will be treats!
DRAMA:
MISC
Shawnee Mission North is pleased to announce Sara Fiedler as the STUCO sponsor for the 2013-14 school year.  Sara received her degree in Bachelor of Arts in Communication / Minor in English from the University of Missouri.  She worked for the Kansas City Convention & Visitors Association and the Culinary Center of Kansas City for four years. mainly in event planning. She obtained a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from UMKC so she could fulfill her lifetime dream of being a high school LA teacher.
Seniors:  Herff Jones will be here on April 4th between 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to distribute graduation announcements.
