Students’ art displayed at State Capital

On Saturday March 2, senior Faith Bayless and juniors Adam Alexander and Christopher Cambrice had their art work displayed at the State Capitol Building as a part of Kansas Art Education Associations Youth Art Month Celebration (KAEA).

March is Youth Art Month and is celebrated to emphasize the importance of a great quality art education program in schools.

Every teacher from the state of Kansas is eligible to submit a piece of art work from their school to be a part of the display. Students of KAEA member’s art is judged and awarded by Sargent Art.
