Attention Seniors who need night school 2nd sem. Please pick up a night school form from Student Services, pay at North, and take the receipt to Horizons on January 9 at 4:00.
Seniors- If you want to drop your seminar for second semester you must turn in the seminar drop form to student services by 3:00 on Wednesday, December 19th
Any form turned in after that time will not be processed until after Winter break and will require that you attend seminar until the paperwork is finalized.

SPORTS:
Girls Soccer: Any girl planning on trying out for soccer this Spring please attend a meeting in room 223 after school Wednesday at 2:45. If you cannot attend please stop by room 223 and see Coach Ricker.
Any student interested in playing football and NOT out for a winter sport, please meet in the MPR @ 2:50pm Monday through Thursday.
Prospective student-athletes wanting to participate in high school activities winter sports activities need an annual physical exam dated AFTER May 1 of each year. Attendance Waiver is due by December 20, 2012 The waiver provision was written into the policy for the sake of students who had something beyond their control happen to prevent them from being in attendance (e.g. a severe illness, court or death in the family). Absences on days such as “senior skip day” or the Royals home opener will not be waived. There are no circumstances under which an UNEXCUSED absence will be waived. All requests for an attendance waiver MUST be in writing. We request that parents and students plan ahead and begin collecting documentation and turn in waiver paperwork to the SMN Office as soon as possible. All Waiver applications are due in the SMN Office by Thursday, December 20, 2012 by 1:00 pm. Submit your attendance waiver and any additional documentation to the SMN Office. |
DRAMA
CLUBS:
The Shawnee Mission North Combo Club will meet this Saturday, December 15th, at 9:30 in the band room……. All students, alumni, and staff are invited to attend this LAST meeting of 2012. Questions? See the Presidents, Zack Valli or Tim Meyer or, Alex “Murdoc” Minor…So in review, Combo Club, this Saturday, in the band room, … set up is at 9:30 and club dismisses at 12 noon.
International Club
Our next meeting is Today, December 11, after school in room 269. Our foreign exchange student from Russia, Alena Geraschenko, will be giving a presentation on Russia. There will also be Russian food. Come join us!
