SM North is teaming with Whole Foods to provide food to families of students enrolled attending North. The meals are designed to feed a family of four, and will be available for pick up at North by the weights room every Friday from Nov. 9 through Dec. 21 from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. and 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. The final time to pick up food will be Dec. 21 from 10 to 11 a.m.

North had a successful first day giving away food, on Nov. 9 they gave away food for 15 families, and they expect to be receive even more food to aid more families in the coming weeks.

In addition to teaming with Whole Foods, North will team up with the City of Mission to give to food insecure families on Thanksgiving.

Harvesters has also provided bags of food that the nurse is able to give out to students that don’t have the money to purchase food.
