This past week, SM North’s Computer Programing Team traveled to Kansas State to participate in a programing competition. The teams used their computer coding skills to solve applied math and word problems.
SM North’s beginning java team took 16th out of 35 teams, while advanced java took 17 out of 30 teams and North’s visual basics team took 20 out of 35 teams.
“It was a fun experience,” said junior Jon Aguilar. “When everyone is having a good time and competing at their bests, it makes me want to go compete again.”
