Just recently the Shawnee Mission School District decided to take all peanut butter in the cafeterias off the menu.

This new change is due to the recent recall of peanut butter around the country. The peanut butter was found in Smuckers PBJ school sandwiches as well as other products.

It is unclear whether or not North’s peanut butter was infected.

According to the cafeteria staff, the removal of peanut butter was just a precaution, just in case were carrying infected food.

The time peanut butter will be back is unknown at this point.
