In the February issue of the Mission that came out on February 26, I wrote a story about all the snow days we have had this year. Everyone was worried about wether or not we were going to have to come to school later than the original last day of school. After we sent the paper to print everyone got an email from Dr. Higgins telling the SM North students, staff, and parents that because the district allotted four snow days this school year, we would be able to use up to eight days without having to come back to school later than the intended summer release date. So, as of March 7 we have used all eight snow days and are yet to have another. Although, this is Kansas, so we never know what kind of weather we will get!
