The North varsity girls basketball team battled rival Shawnee Mission East on January 5th. After the Indians led by 7 at half, the game became one of high intensity with several lead changes. With the 4th quarter spiraling to an end, Lele Love hit the game winner with 2 seconds remaining to bring the Indians to a 51-50 victory over the Lancers.
