On February 14 the North NJROTC program went to Las Cruces, NM to defend their regional championship.

The result of the regionals was North coming out on top for their ninth consecutive regional championship. With the win North will be heading to their tenth consecutive national championship.

The breakdown of their placement in the 11 events went as follows:

1st place: Armed Exhibition Drill, Unarmed Exhibition Drill, Push-Ups, Sit-Ups, 100 Yard Relay, 200 Yard Relay

2nd place: Academics, Inspection, Color Guard, Armed Regulation Drill, Unarmed Regulation Drill

The next competition will be at Blue Springs South High School on March 7 and followed by the national championship in Pensacola, FL on April 10 and 11.
