Boys swim competed at the “Last Chance” meet at Lawrence Freestate High School on Feb. 11. The “Last Chance” meet is the last chance for swimmers to qualify for state before the State swim championship on Feb. 19-20. However, the boys swim team got more than what they bargained for with their 200-yard freestyle team of seniors Keighan Miller, Charlie Kaifes, Julian Rivera and sophomore Carter Jacobson. The team broke another school record and beat the record set in 2010 by .77 seconds- swimming a time of 1:32.68.
