The Senate Resolution introduced by Senator Huntington of District 7 (Northeast Johnson County).  Dr. Johnson, Shawnee Mission Superintendent, and Sara Goodburn, Shawnee Mission Board of Education member, and Richard Kramer, Shawnee Mission North Principal, joined the cadets and Chief Warrant Officer Dennis Grayless and Chief Petty Officer Christopher Neven for this special day in Topeka.

NJROTC cadets are:  Jonathan Altamirano, Noe Alvarez, Alexis Beck, Mac Bruce,Jake Buchanan, Mark Byrd, Autumn Coleman,Chris Bergin, Cody Cress, Jack Currie,Jenny Earnest, Stephen Forbes, Luis Gomez, Sabrina Gragg, Angel Gutierrez, Tyler Hagan, Justin Honn, Josh Humphrey, Michaela Krzesinski, AJ Lipson, Chris Tomlinson, Aoife Mooney, Ben Muller, Carlos Nieto, AJ Reek, Emily Stava, Samantha Stricklin, Miranda Taylor, Alex Thiessen, Kaitlyn Tieman, Daran Wankum, Anna Whitaker, Kylie Wilcox, Jordan Yearsley.  NJROTC teachers are Chief Warrant Officer Dennis Grayless and Chief Petty Officer Christopher Neven.
