On April 16, the theater kids already had their last play of the school year in the Auditorium, Noises OFF.
“I am really proud of the work I did as well as the work that my castmates put into this show,” senior Maggie Bartlett said,” It was my last North Theatre production and I couldn’t have ended on a better note.” senior Maggie Bartlett said.
There were mess-ups when they practiced the play, but those mistakes smoothed out before show day.
“Constant mess-ups happened like wrong lines, wrong doors, wrong sardines. But we pushed through and really locked it when things got serious. We always knew we were going to perform the show no matter what,” senior Ethan Reed said. The show must go on. But that doesn’t mean we didn’t have our hard moments as well.”
It took a lot of practice time for them to get it almost perfect for the actual show.
“To be honest, it took until the very last second for the show to be what we knew it could be,” Bartlett said. “I would say that we weren’t ready for an audience for all three acts until the week before show week.”
