8th Grade Assembly 23′

Chair in his hands, junior D’Myzio Allen makes his debut as Pep Exec’s new President for the 23’-24’ school year at the eighth-grade assembly. “I wasn’t expecting to be the President of Pep Club my senior year,” Allen said. “Hopefully I bring the pep in pep club next year, but after the assembly, I think pep club is going to be just fine.”

Performing for the last time, senior Gage Chapman has one last hurrah in the drumline. “It’s definitely upsetting that I won’t get to perform at another assembly,” Chapman said. “But I’m content knowing that I’m leaving drumline in good hands.” (Robert Leon)
Spirit fingers toward the drumline, sophomore Nicole Mendez helps out during the eighth-grade orientation assembly. “I remember when I was a freshman I didn’t want to be a part of the whole drumline spirit thing,” Mendez said. “But now I wanna try and help the freshman feel more comfortable so that they’ll want to be a part of it too.”
