April 5, 2016
Three American flags stood out from the crowd that formed outside of SM North’s Fieldhouse at 9 p.m. on April 5. NJROTC just won their first ever national championship and it was time to celebrate the work they put in as they pulled up to the crowd waiting for them.
NJROTC took first place in five categories: Push-Ups, Sit-Ups, Armed Regulation Drill, Unarmed Regulation Drill and Color Guard. They also place fourth in Personal Inspection and also won the National Athletic Championship. These wins all together helped bring home the National Championship.
Another celebration is planned for NJROTC on Thursday, April 7 at 2 p.m. in the Fieldhouse for an assembly. During the celebration they will perform their armed and unarmed exhibitions according to an email sent out to students.
