Northman nominees

18 senior boys were nominated for Northman this year. Each nominee told us what it was like to be nominated for Northman.

Anthony Giambalvo: “It feels pretty cool to get mentioned for achieving the things you’ve accomplished at North.”
Keighan Miller: “Awesome.”
Christian Ross: “It’s a big honor to be nominated for Northman.”
Corey Goodburn: ” I was very shocked to hear my name when they announced northman. I was very excited once they called my name because it is such a huge honor.”
Angel Whisler: “It’s pretty cool. To be honest, I didn’t expect to be nominated.”
Nick Wilson: “It’s an honor to be nominated to represent the student body of North.”
Adam Dujakovich: “Being nominated for Northman makes me feel like I’m on the top of the world and it makes me feel cool.”
Frederick Morris: “At first I honestly couldn’t believe that I was nominated for Northman, but it feels awesome to know that people recognize me in a special way.”
Noah Bryan: “It’s pretty weird to be nominated, I remember watching them last year and never expecting to be one myself.”
Christian Damian: “When I found out, I was just so grateful. Not just because of the nomination but because of how amazing my high school experience has been thanks to my friends.”
Derek Davidson: “Northman is love, Northman is life.”
Buddy Sayles: “It feels awesome, I know I wouldn’t be here without the support of my band family. I never imagined that I would one day be walking the Fieldhouse as a Northman nominee. It feels great to have affected so many people in order to be nominated for this award.”
Quinton Jones: “When I heard my name called it was like a rush of excitement. This school has given so much to me and I’m just honored that I was even considered as a student representation of everything this amazing place embodies.”
Dolan McNabb: “Incredible. I’ve been close friends with a nominee every year since my freshman one, and when I first found out I couldn’t help but smile. To win would be amazing, but to even be nominated is such an amazing feeling.”
Gressi Lopez: “It feels great to know I was nominated by my peers for such a prestigious honor. It feels good to be accepted.”
Tristen Morgan: “It feels awesome, I am happy to get this opportunity. “
Parker Williamson: “It was surprising, but cool.”
