SMSD Clothing Exchange

The Shawnee Mission School District is now offering a clothing exchange for all families in the SMSD area located at the Indian Creek Technology Center. It is open every Monday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Every second Monday of the month, however, the exchange is only open during the evenings from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The exchange has gently used clothing and shoes donated by SMSD residents and offers five free pairs of socks and underwear for SMSD students with proof of enrollment. Proof of enrollment includes; report cards, student ID’s, a letter from school staff, such as administration, or showing your Skyward info from a smartphone.
The exchange is made possible by volunteers in the SMSD community. They sort and hang donations as well as help shoppers and donate money to buy new socks and underwear.
