Friends and family of SM North’s graduating class of 2015 filled the North District Stadium Wed. May 20 to cheer on their graduates.  This year’s class held 305 graduates.

“Graduation is always a special and important event for our seniors and their families; it is a momentous occasion,” said associate principal Annette Gonzales.

Ryley Leseberg, senior class President, opened with the Welcome from the Class of 2015, and Alec Turnbull, senior class vice-president gave the Introduction of Distinguished Alumnus. Senior Erin Geter also read the student oration entitled “We are North”, followed by Michael Webb singing “Little Wonders”.

“It was such a surreal experience seeing all of my friends together celebrating out achievement that we have been working for for the last four years,” senior Matt Mahr said.  “It made me realize that all of the ups and downs of high school were worth it.”
