Attention Creative Students: North’s Art and Literary Magazine INDIAN LORE is now accepting submissions for our 2016 publication. Want your visual art (drawings, painting, photography, sculptures, and pottery) or your short stories, essays, poetry, and dramatic works to be published? Look for our signs around the building or come see Mr. Powell in room 113 or Mrs. Miner in room 102 for more information.

Shawnee Mission North students:

Don’t miss out from the greatest bilingual college fair. “univerSidad” event will be conducted entirely in Spanish, where we will welcome our Spanish-speaking families to listen to distinguished speakers about the about the college process, find ways to afford college, and speak with college representatives from local universities. This event will be held on Thursday, October 29 from 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. For more information contact Mrs. Medina in student services.

SPORTS

Attention students, come out and support your Indian football team on tonight vs. Harmon.  Kick off will be at 8pm.  The football parents club will be giving away “free” t-shirts while supplies last!

The JV FB game vs. SME on 11/02/15 has been cancelled.  The C FB game on 10/30/15 @ SME has also been cancelled.

Girls Basketball Meeting Thursday, November 5 @ 1:30p during seminar

Girls Basketball Meeting – if you are planning on trying out for Girls Basketball this season, this is a mandatory meeting.

The football team dinner has been cancelled for this week due to the date change for the football game.

The V Soccer makeup game from 10/8 vs. SME is scheduled for tonight, 10/22 @ 5pm @ the SM Complex.


“There will be an informational meeting for any student interested in participating in a winter sport
