Valerie Hawkins and Molly Roach had their paintings on display at Topeka’s First Friday Art Walk Event on Friday Jan. 4th, 2013 at the Brown v. Board of Education National Historic Site.
Hawkins and Roach’s art pieces were selected as finalists for this year’s high school art contest, “Kansans…As Talented As You Think!” The two students placed in the painting category against hundreds of other entries from Kansas high schools.
