Students accepted into Merriam High School Visual Arts Competition
Seven SMN students were among a select group accepted into the Twentieth Annual Merriam High School Visual Arts Competition.
A panel of judges selected one-hundred eighty-two artworks from the nine hundred and eighty-three entries representing twenty area high schools.
Lila Brockman’s photography piece, Pallete, was also awarded 2nd place in the Photography Division. She received a $150.00 gift certificate.

The show is on display now and open to the public from December 1-31, 2016 at the Tim Murphy Art Gallery, which is on the third floor of Irene B. French Community Center on Merriam Drive, in Merriam, Kansas.
